1 The Accessibility block

The Accessibility block is used to assist people with various disabilities comfortably use eCampus. These disabilities include but are not limited to: vision impairment, dyslexia, and mobility or literacy issues.

NOTE: This aid is only available to you as a student if your lecturer has added it to your eCampus course.

Accessibility block features

The accessibility block has the following features:

Accessibility Block

  • Decrease text size(button to reduce text size): decreases the size of all text on the current page.
  • Reset text size(button to reset the size of the text): Resets the text size to the default setting of the page. (Also clears any saved settings)
  • Increase text size(button to increase the text size): Increases the size of all text on the current page.
  • Save Settings(button to save current text settings): Saves the current setting.
  • Reset Background Color(button to reset background colour scheme to default): Resets the background color scheme to default. It can only be used once the color scheme has been changed.
  • New color scheme 1 (button to change background colour scheme): Changes the current color scheme. For this example it is a black text on a yellow background.
  • New color scheme 2 (button to change colour scheme): Changes the current color scheme. For this example it is black text on a blue background.
  • New color scheme 3 (button to change colour scheme): Changes the current color scheme. For this example it is yellow text on a black background.
  • Launch ATbar: Launches the advanced Accessibility toolbar. This toolbar will appear below the web address bar. There is a tickbox on the left, next to the button to always have it turned on when inside the course.
